Coaching Information

Club Coaching

ASRC offers individual and group coaching, available to all member. Our club has 5 resident coaches, who can offer both group and individual lessons to suit your requirements. In addition the club offers a Walk On Fridays Session, where short 15 minute taster lesssons can be taken to just get a few pointers.

  • Individual lesson costs vary dependent on the coach you work with
    • David Ireson - £24 for 40 mins
    • Nathan Sharp - £18 for 40 mins
    • Mike Hegarty - £18 for 40 mins
    • Amie Bruce - £18 for 40 mins
    • Sam Price - £18 for 40 mins
  • Group lesson costs vary depending on group size.
  • Non Members are welcome to get coaching on additional payment of a guest fee

Performance Coaching

As well as the above ASRC is the home for the Grampian Regional Performance Programme, where the region's top Juniors and Seniors train during the week. These programmes are led by David Ireson, Grampian Regional Performance Network Head Coach, and are supported by Scottish Squash & Racketball and Grampian Squash.

Walk on Fridays

Walk on Fridays is an open session that non-members are welcome attend. The cost for the first few sessions is completely free. Members and coaches are on hand to welcome new faces and provide and introduction to either squash or racketball in a friendly environment. It's a great wey to get to know a few people and start to get to know ASRC. If you are worried about coming yourself feel free to bring a friend! To enhance the social atmosphere most members will usually stay for a few drinks in Legends Sports Bar after the session. Click here for more details.

There are several different classes that run out of ASRC on a weekly basis. Details for each classe are shown below.

Friskis & Svettis Aerobics Classes

There us a Friskis & Svettis Aerobics class that runs on a Wednesday evening, and is a basic strength class. This class is perfect for a full body work out. The class is run by Rosey Leiper.
