Previous Successes
World rankings
February's World Rankings is extremely good reading for our Club. Daryl Selby (ASRC no.1) is up to a career high 26 after recent impressive performances out in the States. ASRCs no.2, Alan Clyne, moves up 46 places to 121, and like Daryl to a new career high.
The Ladies rankings sees both ASRC's top girls featuring. Frania Gillen-Buchert has dropped down to 230 having been unable to compete in recent tournaments, however Lisa Aitken has moved up to 169 and lies just below her career high of 158.
National rankings
Men's
ASRC is now in the position of holding 5 spots in the top 10 of the Scottish National Rankings. Leading the home challenge is the aforementioned Alan Clyne who remains at no.2 with only the soon to retire John White ahead of him. At no.5 is Club Manager and Coach Alistair Gorrie. Just one spot behind is Lyall Paterson whilst James Jacobsen and Adam Bews slot in at 8 and 10 respectively.
Ladies
Another section that makes for good reading. At no.2 is Frania Gillen-Buchert, no.5 is Robyn Hodgson and down to no.8 is Lisa Aitken.

Not content with dominating the National scene on a Senior AND Junior level, the Club is also topping the rankings in many Age Groups.

With National Championships for Juniors, Seniors and the Masters (here at ASRC 06-08 March) all coming up soon, our players will be looking to impress in order to secure Scotland call ups. Keep posted for that.
