About
The Scottish Masters National Championships 2025 will be held at Edinburgh Sports Club, and are open to all players over the age of 35 (on the first day of the tournament). This competition runs using the monrad draw system and round robins which means every player will play through to a final finishing position. The competition runs in age groups and some age groups may be combined if entry numbers are low. The following age groups will be accepting entries:

Women’s Over 35/40/45/50/55/60/65
Men’s Over 35/40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75

RANKING POINTS MULTIPLIER
This event has a 1.5X multiplier for Scottish Squash Masters ranking points. For information on ranking points, see the Men's/Women's Masters Selection Procedures, Criteria and Ranking Structure available at https://www.scottishsquash.org/policies-procedures/#toggle-id-5

ENTERING MULTIPLE AGE CATEGORIES
Players entering multiple age groups do so at their own risk, and should note that scheduling will not be adjusted to accommodate this. Consecutive matches without breaks may be required.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF MATCHES
Every effort will be made to give players as many matches as possible, however depending on entry numbers some players may only receive two matches.

I really enjoyed the weekend and it was a very well run event. The competition was good and the atmosphere was fantastic. I was impressed that the schedule was kept to. My preference would be for later start times as 9.30am feels very early to play, however, I understand it’s difficult to fit in a busy schedule and did prefer that there were no matches on Friday night. Thanks to the organisers and referees!

Was a well run tournament full of great games and camaraderie. Communication was excellent even with the last minute change to draw because of a very late withdrawal. Good to have proper refs so we could play cool down and shower then chat with mates rather than having the sometimes stressful experience of marking others’ matches. Court temps were good. Changing facilities good and lovely to have a sauna in the changing room!

The option to pre-order food for the Saturday was amazing. Great quality lasagne.
I entered 2 age categories and really appreciated that the planning tried to accommodate and was successful in doing so.
I ever much enjoyed every single match, even though 6 out of 8 were lost…….
Thanks again for an awesome tournament
